Lorraine M. Tasse, 89 of Marshfield died on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Wells Nature View in Marshfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Monday, October 14, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Nelson officiating. Sacred Heart Funeral Choir will provide the music for the Mass. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visitations will be on Sunday 4-7:00pm at the Rembs Funeral Home and again on Monday from 9:00am until service time. There will be a Parish Council of Catholic Women rosary service at 4:00pm Sunday at Rembs Funeral Home. Lorraine was born on December 30, 1923 in Bakerville to Joseph and (Magdelina) Henseler. She graduated from Marshfield High School. She was united in marriage to Sylvester L. Tasse on January 13, 1946 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Bakerville. He passed away on September 4, 2006. Lorraine raised her family then started her career as a secretary at UW Extension Experimental Farm in Marshfield for over 20 years. She sewed and needle stitched table cloths for her grandchildren, enjoyed reading, a Milwaukee Brewer fan and loved her grandchildren very much. Lorraine is survived by three daughters, Sr. Ann Louise, SSND of Milwaukee, Kathleen (William) Hahn of Pittsville, Janet (Jeff) West of Pittsville, two sons Karl Tasse of Spring Green and Michael (Pat) Tasse of Prior Lake, MN; 9 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren expected and 12 step great grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister Adelaide Varsho of Marshfield, and a sister-in-law, Inez Henseler of Coleman, WI. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son-in-law Ed Jagielo, two brothers, Fr. Joseph Henseler and Edward Henseler and a sister Delores Bella.
