Lois J. Krohn, 72, Marshfield, died on Friday, July 15, 2011 at Ministry St. Josephs Hospital Palliative Care, Marshfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, July 18, 2011 at St. Johns Catholic Church. Rev. Victor Feltes will officiate and music will be provided by St. Johns Church Funeral Choir. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 9:30 am until service time at St. Johns Catholic Church. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Lois was born on October 12, 1938 in Marshfield, the daughter of Elmer and Cecelia (Sautner) Schlafke. Her father died at the age of twenty seven and her mother later married William Henseler. Lois attended school in Loyal and St. Johns Parochial School and Columbus High School, both in Marshfield. She married Robert J. Krohn on August 24, 1963 in Marshfield. She had been employed at various businesses in Marshfield, including, K-Mart, Alishas Gift Shop, Woolworths, The Photo Shop, Ben Franklin and Kollers Super Market. She collected Statue of Liberty memorabilia and also collected dolls. She also enjoyed traveling and an occasional trip to the casino. She is survived by her husband, Bob, two brothers and two sisters, William (Sandra) Henseler of Granton and their children, William, III and Amber; Thomas Henseler of Granton; Kathleen Henseler of Marshfield; and Susan Henseler of Marshfield and her daughter Ashley. She is also survived by her brother-in-law John (Bev) Krohn and sister-in -law Shirley (Harvey) Sawicky all Marshfield. She was preceded in death by her parents.
