Linda L. Beranek, 68, Milladore, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at her home.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm on Monday, November 16, 2026 at Martens/Rembs Funeral Home, Junction City.

Linda was born on August 21, 1958 in McHenry County, Illinois to Edward and Marcella (Renner) Groskinsky. She was united in marriage to Daniel Beranek on June 26, 1976 in Milladore.

Linda farmed and enjoyed taking care of the calves, including feeding them candy. She also worked at Figi’s and Herrschners before retiring in 2020. Linda made many friends at work who she still stayed in contact with. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, camping, fishing, and annual trips to Wyoming.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel, children, Kristi Beranek, Jason (Esther) Beranek, and Paul (Stephanie) Beranek, all of Milladore, and Kimberly (Kevin) Welninski of Wisconsin Rapids; 10 grandchildren, Stephanie (Jet), Kasyn, Hailey, Camden, Colton, Derek (Sam), Karl, Riley, Tiffany and Shelby; and 1 great grandchild, August.

She is further survived by her brother, Robert Groskinsky Jr. and sister, Betty Malthe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Marcella, father and mother in law, Jim and Roseann Beranek, brother in law, Ward Malthe, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
