Linda L. Carcy, 61 of Junction City, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Ministry St. Josephs Hospital in Marshfield after a courageous battle with cancer. Memorial service will be 7pm Monday, June 27, 2011 at Martens/Rembs Funeral Home in Junction City with Pastor Joel Pyatskowit officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 3pm Monday until time of the service at Martens/Rembs Funeral Home. She was born on August 7, 1949 to Kenneth and Ruth (Smith) Landwer in Elgin, IL. Linda graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1967 and later married Alan Carcy on July 19, 1969 in Junction City. She was employed at Sentry Insurance from 1967 until her diagnosis in 2007. She enjoyed traveling, car shows, camping, gardening, her cats and spending time with her grandkids. Linda is survived by her husband Al, children, Becky (Chad) Snell of Fremont, Jeff (Debbie) Carcy of Junction City, three grandchildren, Dylan Snell, Saralyn and Sammy Carcy. She is further survived by her father Kenneth Landwer of Junction City, one brother and four sisters. Linda was preceded in death by her mother Ruth on October 22, 2010 and an infant sister.
