Linda L. Beers 62, of Marshfield, died on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 unexpectedly at her home in Marshfield. Public visitations will be held from 1-4pm Sunday, June 19, 2011, at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield. Private services will be held at the Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 11am. Linda was born on July 17, 1948 in Marshfield to James and Dorothy (Simolke) Lenz. She graduated from Marshfield Senior High School and attended Wausau School of Beauty. Linda was employed at Regis Hair Salon for a total of 7 years. She was united in marriage to Howard "Skip" Beers, Jr. on September 21, 1968 at Faith Lutheran Church in Marshfield. She then raised her children and started work at Figis. She was employed at Figis in the order edit department for over 23 years. Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren and giving them rides on her golf cart. They spent their summers at the cabin on Castle Rock Lake and enjoyed working in her gardens. She treasured spending time with the love of her life and her best friend, Skip. Linda is survived by her husband Skip, children Lisa (Mark) Wipfli of Marshfield and Chuck (Kelly) Beers of LaCrosse; five grandchildren McKae, Shamaira, Conley, Megan and Hailey. She is further survived by her mother Dorothy Lenz of Marshfield and her siblings, John Lenz of St. David, PA; Billy Ray (Donna) Lenz and Brian Lenz both of Portland, OR; Loreen (Bill) Whitton of Bluffton, SC and Julie Lenz of Marshfield. She was preceded in death by her father James Lenz and a sister Cheryl Lenz.
