LeRoy F. Kraus, 86, Rozellville, died on Monday, April 7, 2014 at Marshfield Care Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Rozellville, with Rev. John Alphonse officiating. Burial will take place in the parish Cemetery and grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. The visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Rembs Funeral Home and on Thursday from 9:30 am until service time at St. Andrew's Catholic Church. A Knights of Columbus rosary service will be held on Wednesday at 5:00 pm at the funeral home. LeRoy was born November 7, 1927 in Rozellville, to Louis and Agnes (Gemski) Kraus. He attended St. Andrew's Parochial School, Rozellville. He married Anita "Nitzie" Martin on April 23, 1949 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church. LeRoy was a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed at Felker Brothers Manufacturing for 24 years. He and his wife then owned and operated L & N Halder Bridge Bar for 18 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus John Eisen Council #1799, The Marshfield Eagles Club and was a charter member of the Rozellville Lions Club. He is survived by his wife, Anita "Nitzie", of Marshfield, a son, David (Margaret) Kraus and a daughter, Sheila (Russell) Spindler, all of Rozellville. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Christopher "Sammy" (Susie) Spindler, Michelle (Todd) Maurer, RaeAnn (Todd) Leonhardt, Eric (Theresa) Kraus, Kevin (Beth Kolbeck) Spindler, and Ryan (Courtney Czaja) Spindler, and 14 great grandchildren. He is further survived by 10 brothers and sisters, Laverne "Mutzie" Fahey, Marion Jakubowski, Louis "Jr." (Dorothy) Kraus, Agnes Rehlinger, Virginia Stauber, Jerry (Jean) Kraus, Tom (Margaret) Kraus, Marilyn "Bubby" (Richard) Wagner, Jim (Irene) Kraus, and Ken (Mary) Kraus and 4 sisters-in-law, Alice Brown, Lillian Johnson, Betty Martin, and Kay Martin. He is predeceased by his parents, 3 sisters, Lorraine Mancl, Margie Oertel, Annita "Pete" Pokallus and 2 brothers, Charles in infancy and Edward.
