Leonard J. Robinson, 89, of Marshfield passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Golden Living Center, Three Oaks, in Marshfield. Leonard was born February 13, 1924 in Pardeeville, Wisconsin to Lynn and Violet (Hunter) Robinson. Leonard was a veteran of the U. S. Coast Guard from November, 1942 through March, 1946. He married Barbara Ann Schlaefli on July 26, 1958. He is survived by his children, Daniel Robinson (Ruth Ann) of Illinois, Barbara Jane Owings (James – deceased) of Texas, Patricia Zehnder (Dennis) of Minnesota, Susan Zander of Iowa, Richard Prewitt (Michaela) of Montana, Robert Prewitt (Nancy) of Florida, William Prewitt (Christine) of Colorado, Thomas Prewitt (Diana) of California, Barbara Tetzlaff (Jerry – deceased) of Marshfield and Edward Prewitt (Mellie) of Colorado. He is further survived by 20 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, his parents, three brothers and one sister. Family will receive friends and relatives for visitation at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Faith Lutheran Church, 207 S. Cherry Ave., Marshfield with services to follow at 11:00 a.m. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #54 of Marshfield following the service.
