Lawrence "Larry" Tryba, age 68, Junction City, died peacefully at his home on March 15, 2018, surrounded by his beloved children.
Larry was born to Harry and Dorothy (Kessler) Tryba on November 6, 1949. In 1968, he graduated from Mosinee High School. After graduation, he served his country during the Vietnam War. He spent almost 5 decades working for Hughes Service, Inc. in Milladore, Wisconsin, as an auto body mechanic.
Larry was united in marriage to Carol Fadze on October 4, 1975, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Milladore. He was a devoted husband and father.
In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, working his hobby farm and spending time with his grandchildren.
Larry will be missed by his two children Cynthia (Thad) Swing and Steven Tryba; his two grandchildren, MacKenzie and Nathen Swing; his brothers and sisters, Mike Tryba, Johnny (Paulette) Tryba, Jean (Jim) Kohnhorst, and Clarence (Judy) Tryba; and his brother-in-law, Gary Kronstedt; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; his sisters Helen Kronstedt and Rose Brown; and his sister-in-law Sue Tryba.
The family would like to thank those that supported them through the last months of Larry's life.
A visitation will be held at Martens/Rembs Funeral Home, Junction City on March 22, 2018, at 3:00 PM until the time of service at 5:00 PM. Deacon Ray Draeger will officiate. Burial will take place in St. Michael's Cemetery at a later date.
