Our beloved Laura Ann Brue, age 77, of Spencer, passed away with family at her side on Sunday, October 29, 2022, at Marshfield Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Christ Lutheran Church, Chili, where the visitation will be from 9:30 am until service time. Rev. Dan Schoessow will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Sherman, Clark County. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Laura A. Brue was born October 20, 1945, in Pittsville, WI, to Otto and Mary (Krietlow) Grubofski, and was a graduate of Pittsville High School. She was married to her adored Dexter A. Brue on June 5, 1965, in Pittsville. Laura dedicated her life's work unconditionally caring for and loving her children. Laura passionately tended to her animals, crops, homestead and farm in Spencer Wisconsin. After raising her family, she was employed at Roundy's, Karau's and Pick 'n Save grocery stores in Marshfield.

Laura is survived by her seven children, eight grandchildren; son, Bruce, (Carrie) Brue, Arvada, CO, grandchildren Tyler Brue, Megan Brue, and Melissa Brue, daughter, Pam Brue, Spencer, WI, daughter, Gail, (Jerry) Irmick, Broomfield, CO, grandchildren, Natalia Irmick, and Kyle Irmick, son, Craig Brue, Spencer, WI, daughter, Theresa Brue, Spencer, WI, daughter, Julie (Joe) Bilgrien, Arpin, WI, granddaughter Jasmine Bilgrien, and daughter Valerie (John) Krause, Spencer, WI, grandchildren Victoria Krause, and Blake Krause, two great grandchildren, Stella Patenaude and Sterling, "Elvis" Patenaude, (Natalia Irmick). Laura is also survived by siblings; Otto Grubofski, Carl Grubofski, Fred Grubofski, Richard Grubofski, Larry Grubofski, John Grubofski and Ida Flewellen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Mary Grubofski, her husband Dexter A. Brue on December 8, 2019, and her siblings, Otto Jr. Grubofski, Clarence Grubofski, Wally Grubofski, Bertha Drackley and Lorraine (Susie) Sladek.
