Lamont C. Wiese, 65, Marshfield,and formerly of Chetek, died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 13, 2013 in the emergency room of Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, WI. Lamont was born on November 26, 1947 in New Auburn, WI to Russell and Grace (Bauch) Wiese. He married Betty L. Langman on May 17, 1969 in Rice Lake. Lamont was known for his never ending sense of humor and constant laughter. His interests included pretty much any sport on T.V. and spending time with his family. He is survived by Betty, his loving wife of 43 years, and their children, Kevin Wiese of Minnetonka, MN and Kurt (Lisa) Wiese of Marshfield, WI. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Rowan, Ava, Kylee and Cole. He is further survived by his mother, Grace Bauch, a brother, Allan (Jane) Wiese and a sister, Debbie (Brian) Gorman. He was predeceased by his father and a brother Brad Wiese. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. on Wednesday April 17, 2013 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, WI. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Chetek, WI where the family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 10:00 am until service time.
