Laddimere J. Beranek, 88 of Junction City died peacefully at home on March 30, 2016 with his family. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am Monday, April 4, 2016 at St. Bartholomew's Catholic Church in Mill Creek with Fr. John Ofori-Domah and Deacon Richard Razumalski officiating. Burial will be at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery in Milladore. Military rites will be conducted at the cemetery by the American Legion Post 486 of Milladore. Visitations will be from 4-8pm Sunday at the Martens/Rembs Funeral Home in Junction City and again at the church on Monday from 10am until service time. Laddie was born on April 12, 1927 to John and Mary (Lang) Beranek in Milladore. He was united in marriage to Rosemarie M. Meyer on November 25, 1952 in Kalamazoo, MI. Prior to his military service, he drove milk truck and worked for the railroad. He served in the United State Army during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge, he was employed at the Port Edward Nekoosa Paper Mill for 38 years before retiring. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, was a great outdoorsman and loved his grandchildren. Laddie is survived by his wife Rosemarie, children, Carolyn (Vince) Dalton of Red Granite, Patricia (friend Ken Stencel) Lewis of Wisconsin Rapids, Richard Beranek of Oshkosh, Laurie (Thomas) Weiland of Stevens Point, Susan Hanson of Junction City, Donald (Michelle) Beranek of Junction City and Gary Beranek of Junction City; 24 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. He is further survived by a sister Rita Esser of Arpin and a sister-in-law Regina Beranek of Milladore. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons Ronald and Robert Beranek; 4 brothers, Joseph, Anton, Jack and Jim Beranek and a sister, Sister Adelta, OSB. The family would like to thank Aspirus Hospice Care especially Beth, Donna and Rhonda for their loving care of him. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
