Kyle V. Wendt, 57, Marshfield, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026 at Marshfield Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 27, 2026 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will take place at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Richfield, Wood County.

Kyle was born on March 1, 1969 in Neillsville to Armin Jr. and Marjorie (Luepke) Wendt. He attended Nasonville Elementary, Trinity Lutheran, Marshfield Junior High School, and graduated from Marshfield Senior High School.

Kyle worked for Grupp’s Farm, Nasonville Dairy, Pork Plant in Abbotsford, and Solutions in Marshfield.

He took great pride in his ’72 Gran Torino Sport. He enjoyed snowmobiling, ATV trail riding, buying and selling junk cars, demolition derbies, and going to car shows. Most of all, he loved being a dad and grandpa.

He is survived by his daughter, Jenna Zahn and grandchildren, Sophia, Kinzleigh, Cameron, and Oliver (on the way).

He is further survived by his mother, Marjorie, sister, Katherine “Kathy” Wendt, brothers, Keith, Kevin, and Kory Wendt, nephews, Shaun Sandley and Brian Wendt, niece, Tammy (DJ) Kolb, and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Armin Jr, stepfather, Richard Bue, and grandparents, Vilas and Irene Luepke and Armin Sr. and Sarah Wendt.
