Kevin Jay Attoe, 61, of Marshfield was found to have passed away in his home on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 after he was called home by his Heavenly Father.

Celebration of Life to be held at a later date, details to come.

Kevin was born October 1, 1964 in Madison to Roger and Jelane (Hathaway) Attoe. He attended schooling in Madison and enjoyed an eclectic career in radio, music, and later on in insurance. In 1991, he moved to Marshfield to take a job at WOSQ and then later at WDLB as an on air host. He also announced at the Marshfield Chaparral baseball games. He had an incredible voice for radio and also was an amazing singer.

Kevin was community involved and participated often in local politics. He was dedicated to his careers and was a very generous and intelligent man and incredible cook as well. He enjoyed going to his childrens' sports and dance events as they grew up and also loved all of his furry animals. Kevin enjoyed hunting, healthy living, doing character impressions, notably Scooby-Doo characters and most of all loved being a father and grandpa.

Kevin is survived by his daughters Cassandra (Femi) Sokoya and Mattea (Christian) Laack. He is further survived by five grandchildren: Adira, Asher, and Aletheia Sokoya, and Selah & Elsie Laack. Kevin is also survived by his mother Jelane, and siblings Todd & Robin.

He was preceded in death by his father Roger and brother Mark.
