Kent E. Solinsky, 55, Marshfield, died on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Martens / Rembs Funeral Home, Junction City, with Rev. Erv Volkmann officiating. Burial will take place in Runkel Cemetery, Town of Eau Pleine, Portage County. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 2:00 pm until service time at the funeral home. Kent was born on July 13, 1957 in Aberdeen, South Dakota, to Stanley and Joy (Williams) Lahmen. He was a graduate of Stevens Point Area Senior High School. Kent was employed at Felker Brothers Manufacturing, Marshfield, for over 25 years until the present time. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by a son and 2 daughters, Luke Solinsky of Marshfield, Shanon Calderon of Gainsville, Georgia and April (Todd) Sturz of Columbus, WI. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Brandon, Daylynn, Tyler, Joseph, Hannah and Scott. He is further survived by 2 brothers and 2 sisters, Wayne (Judy) Solinsky of Stevens Point, Jeff (Darla) Solinsky of DeRidder, Louisiana, Cindy Solinsky of Stevens Point and Michelle (Jeff) Gaetz of Junction City, and nieces and nephews, Chris, Megan, Eden, Talyn, Shay, Skylar, and Natania.
