Kenneth George Whitney, age 75, Ware Shoals, South Carolina and formerly of Marshfield, died on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC. Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 pm on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Rembs Funeral Home with Rev. Samuel Martin officiating. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post 54. The visitation will be held on Monday from 12:00 pm until service time. Kenneth was born on December 2, 1939 in Marshfield to Alvin and Anna (Kirschbaum) Whitney. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Ken is survived by a sister, Eileen Snyder of Ware Shoals, 2 nephews, Warren Lowe of Ware Shoals, and Allen Lowe of Petaluma, CA., a niece Jackie Krause of Ellensburg, WA, and a great nephew Charlie Lowe of Petaluma, CA.
