Kenneth W. Schmude, 83, Arpin, died with his son and daughter-in-law at his side on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Ministry St. Joseph's Palliative Care, Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at a later date. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Kenneth was born on November 26, 1930 in Omro to Harold and Lucille (Schwochert) Schmude, Sr. and was a 1949 graduate of Omro High School. He married Marjorie E. Stuebe on October 4, 1958 at First English Lutheran Church in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She died on January 13, 1999. Ken was a dairy farmer his entire life, retiring in 1992 but continued to assist his son on the farm. He enjoyed being outdoors, drawing and cartooning, (having some of his work published) working on his lap top, Packer football, and local short track racing. He is survived by his son, Gerald (Christine) Schmude of Arpin and his twin brother, Keith (Barbara) Schmude of Fairfax, VA, Robert (Patricia) Schmude of New London, Sonya Fraleigh of Omro, Sandra Wagner of Suring and Harold (Cathy) Schmude, Jr. of Pence. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his wife. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
