Kenneth M. Fischer, 76, Marshfield, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where the visitation will be from 9:00 am until service time. Deacon Ray Draeger will officiate. The service will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield. Kenneth was born on February 4, 1945 in Madison, Wisconsin, to Mark and Marian (Burmeister) Fischer and was a graduate of Central High School in Madison. He married Geraldine E. Reed on August 24, 1968 in Madison. As a young man he was employed for the United States Postal Service in Madison for several years. He then was employed in various office capacities. The Fischer's moved to Marshfield in 2012. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine and their children, Robert Fischer, Matthew Fischer, both of Madison and a daughter, Christel (Gene) Desotell of Fredericksburg, VA. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Brittany, Kaylee, Izayah and Brigette and one great grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Cheryl Stegmann, Linda Bollig and Cathy Elsing, a nephew, LeRoy Kaler and a niece Terri Lozano.
