Karen M. Telschow, 79, Stratford, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. A graveside service and burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, in the village of Stratford, with Rev. Sue Eidahl officiating. Sauter / Rembs Funeral Home, Stratford, is assisting the family. Karen was born on December 15, 1940 in Stratford, to Reinhold and Mildred (Topham) Telschow and was a graduate of Stratford High School. After her education she moved to Sun Prairie where she worked at American Family Insurance for many years. She then moved to Merrill and Wausau and was employed at Church Mutual Insurance until her retirement. She returned to Stratford where she cared for her parents. Karen liked doing crafts and ceramic work, cooking, and visiting the cottage near Loretta, Wisconsin where she enjoyed fishing. She is survived by her brothers, Leon and Gordon Telschow, both of Stratford. She was predeceased by her parents. The family would like to thank the staff at the former Evergreen Place and Southern Reflection that took such wonderful care of Karen in her eight year stay at North Central (Mount View Care Center). Memorials may be designated to Zion Lutheran Church, Stratford.
