IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Karen A.
Holland
March 5, 1954 – December 31, 2025
It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Ann (Braun) Holland on December 31, 2025 at the age of 71, a devoted mother, cherished friend, and guiding light to her children. She was born on March 5th 1954, to Robert Braun and Lorraine (Bierman) Braun in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. She grew up on her family farm in Pittsville, WI, graduating from Pittsville high school in 1972. In adulthood she lived in many locations but settled in Marshfield where she bartended and worked at Walmart until her retirement to become a full time caregiver to her children. She dedicated her life to nurturing her family with warmth, patience, and unwavering support. Her children, son Chris (Beth) Braun; daughters Heather Holland and Bonnie Holland, were her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. She taught them kindness, resilience, and the importance of laughter. Though she left this world way too early on December 31, 2025 at the age of 71, her love will forever live in the hearts of those she touched.
Karen is survived by her grandchildren Hannah, Samantha, and William Braun. She is also survived by her siblings - Edward (Judy) Braun, Marilyn Pulvermacher, and Edwin (Brenda) Braun.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother-in-law Gary Pulvermacher.
From a young age, Karen had a gift for seeing the needs of those around her and stepping in without hesitation. Whether it was lending a listening ear, volunteering to help friends, or quietly performing acts of kindness, Karen made the world a gentler, warmer place.
Friends and family will remember Karen for her boundless generosity of time and effort, infectious smile, the way she made everyone feel valued, her stories, her love of animals, and her love of playing cards with friends and family. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and the love she shared so freely.
Her Celebration of Life will be held in the spring/summer of 2026 with more details to follow.
