Karen M. Bach, 60, of Marshfield passed away Friday, April 4, 2025 at Marshfield Medical Center in the presence of her family.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Karen was born June 28, 1964 in Marshfield to Robert and Billie (Olson) Tauschek. She grew up in the Marshfield area, attending St. John's Primary School and graduating from Marshfield Senior High in 1982. She then attended Mid-State Tech. She was united in marriage January 1, 2002, to Edward Bach.

Karen was a waitress and bartender before moving to Las Vegas in July of 1995. There she worked at a few restaurants, opened and managed a Toys-R-Us, and her final job was as a Slot Technician with Station Casinos. She moved back home in July of 2023 for her health and to be closer to family. Karen loved cooking, baking, reading, playing games, and her time with loved ones.

Karen is survived by her husband of 24 years, Edward of Marshfield, son Brian (Cassie) Tauschek of Marshfield, daughter Heather Tauschek of Marshfield, and step-daughter Chris Peters of Pittsville. Further survived by 2 grandchildren: Bryanna and Bryce Tauschek, and 3 step grandchildren Nichole, Scottie, and Skye. She is further survived by her siblings Darla Spatz of Marshfield, Janice (Keith) Spatz, of Marshfield, Rhonda Daul of Weston, and Denise (Carl) Hirsch of Mosinee.
