Kalvin A. Gebelein, 64 of Stratford died on Wednesday morning, April 11, 2012 at the emergency room at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Per his request, no visitations or funeral services. Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home in Stratford is assisting the family. Kalvin was born on February 7, 1948 in the town of Day, Marathon County to Arlo and Lucille (Patrie) Gebelein. He served in the United State Army during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge, he drove semi truck for Fisher Transport of Fenwood and retired from Dale Ladick Trucking out of Vesper. He enjoyed hunting and NASCAR racing. Kalvin is survived by six brothers, Kermit (Dixie) Gebelein of Delafield, Klem (Delores) Gebelein of Stratford, Klyde (Joan) Gebelein of Colby, Ronald (Sandy) Gebelein of Stratford, Donald Gebelein of Stratford, Ricky Gebelein of Stratford, three sisters, Korene (Dennis) Hofmann, Lyn (LeRoy) Stroetz and Lois (Norm) Graveen all of Stratford and many nieces and nephews.
