June M. Reshel, 98, City Point, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at House of the Dove, Marshfield.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Buchanan/Rembs Funeral Home, Pittsville with visitation from 1:00 pm until the time of service. Rev. Fred Parker Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow at City Point Cemetery, Jackson County.

June was born on June 24, 1926 in Butler to Hugo and Margaret (Roesch) Bublitz. She was united in marriage to Lawrence S. Reshel on October 17, 1947. He passed away on April 28, 1979.

June enjoyed tending to her flower garden, and she was a proud member of the Pittsville American Legion Auxiliary for 58 years.

She is survived by her son, Andy Reshel, daughters, Luann (John) Peterson, Sarah (Jim) Grutzik, Peggy (Bart) Klusmeier, and Joann Flick, son in law, Randy Steponik, 10 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter in infancy, daughters, Margaret Dupee and Lois Steponik, grandson, Richard, two great grandsons Erik and Taylor, and siblings, Audrey, Violet, Dorothy, Betty, Sonny, and Bobby.
