Joyce L. Bartelt, 90, died on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at House of the Dove, Marshfield. There will be no Public service. Entombment will take place in Oakwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Beaver Dam. Joyce was born on March 7, 1927 in Beaver Dam, to Frederick and Edith (Zemlo) Schindel. She was united in marriage to Earl R. Bartelt on October 2, 1948 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Juneau, Wisconsin. He died on August 20, 1991. She is survived by a son Jim (Sheryl) Bartelt of Marshfield and a daughter, Sharon (Doug) Albee of Lakeland, FL. She is further survived by a sister, Doris Zahn of Whitewater. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, LeRoy Schindel. Jim and Sheryl would like to give special thanks to the staff of Three Oaks Health Services, Wells Nature View and House of the Dove for the compassionate care they provided to Joyce.
