Joseph D. Finamore, Jr. age 70, Marshfield, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at his home.

Private family funeral services were held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Bakerville. Deacon Ray Draeger officiated. Interment was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield.

Joseph was born on January 29, 1954, in Denver, CO, to Joseph A. and Joan M. (Mundt) Finamore.

Joe retired from Marshfield Clinic Health Systems after 30 years in Information Systems and the Research Foundation. He was a faithful church musician and enjoyed acting and singing in community plays, computer programing, woodworking, travel and enjoyed outdoor activities. He performed with Original Minds, a group of local artists, showcasing their work.

He is survived by his children, Joel (Stephanie) Finamore of Wausau, Kirstin Finamore of Rudolph, David (Jessica) Finamore of Marshfield, and Rebecca Finamore of Marshfield. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Nicholas (Bri) Aidan, David, William, Joshua, and Samuel, and one great grandchild, Kaliyah. He is further survived by his mother, Joan of Marshfield, a brother, Gary (Sharon) Finamore of South Milwaukee, and sisters, Pam (Dave) Marsh of Marshfield, and Sue (Alan) Schulz of McHenry, IL.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph, Sr., and a brother, Michael.
