Johnnee J. Brandl, 46, Arpin, passed away peacefully, with family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Friday, March 24, 2017 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at North Ridge Church, Marshfield, with Pastor Preston Tippen officiating. Burial will take place in Brooklawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, Town of Richfield, and serving as pallbearers will be close friends, Scott Bishoff, Dan Fink, Nathan Draeger, Justin Ver Kilen, Josh Brun and special nephews, Joshua Duerr and Hunter Korger. The visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Rembs Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until service time at North Ridge Church. Johnnee was born on July 29, 1970 in Marshfield, to James and Carole (Hall) Brandl Sr., and attended Auburndale Schools. Johnnee had been employed as a salesman at V & H Automotive, Marshfield, for over 20 years. He was an active member of AA and NA and had been a sponsor, helping countless others, for 22 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and working on cars. He had a passionate hobby for every season, but most of all he enjoyed time spent with family and friends. He made the most of every day, especially after his cancer diagnosis, taking his family on trips all across the country to many different places. He did this not for himself but for others, in spite of not being well. He was an inspiration to everyone and his legacy will live on to those who loved him dearly. He is survived by the love of his life for the past 17 years, Sarah and 3 daughters and 2 sons, Autumn (19), Breanna (14), Brooke (9), Andrew (6) and Alex (3), all at home in Arpin and a granddaughter expected in June. He is also survived by his parents, Jim and Peppy Brandl of Marshfield, his brother, James (Gina) Brandl Jr. of Arpin, his sisters, Joy (Mark) Korger of Marshfield, Judy Bendickson of Arpin, Jackie (Dennis) Crist of Arpin, and Candy Brandl (Dennis Duerr) of Marshfield. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harold and Helene Hall, paternal grandparents, John and Angie Brandl and brother-in-law, Tim Bendickson.
