John F. "Fritz" Schultz, 77 of Rozellville passed away on Friday, September 19, 2014 at his home with his family by his side.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Rozellville at 11:00 am with Fr. John Alphonse officiating. Military rites will be provided by the American Legion Post 54 of Marshfield at the church. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until service time at the church on Tuesday. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Fritz was born on November 28, 1936 in Marshfield to John and Mildred (Brinkmann) Schultz. He graduated from Marshfield High School in 1955. After graduation he moved to Oshkosh and worked at his Aunt Dell's Lake Rest Resort for two years. He moved back to Rozellville and worked at Karau's Grocery Store, eventually becoming the Store Manager. He worked 40 years at Karau's Grocery Store in Marshfield.
He was united in marriage to Carol Scheuer on July 4, 1960 at St. John's Catholic Church in Marshfield.
He is survived by his wife Carol, two sons John (Kathi Novotny) Schultz of Rozellville, and Perry (Karen) Schultz of Lindsey. He is also survived by three grandchildren: Jonathon (Kayla) Schultz, Paige, and Lindsey Schultz, and three great grandchildren: twins Charlie & Franklin along with their sister Evelyn Schultz.
He was preceded in death by his parents John & Mildred Schultz and his in-laws Arthur & Erma Scheuer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to St. Andrew's stained glass window restoration project.
