John W. "Jack" Kane, Jr., 67, Marshfield, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Buchanan / Rembs Funeral Home, Pittsville. John was born on February 15, 1954 in Marshfield, to John W. and Noris (Miller) Kane, Sr., and was a 1972 graduate of Pittsville High School. He married Debra Adrian in 1973 and they later divorced. As a young man, Jack farmed briefly and was employed in construction work and then worked at various bars in the Marshfield area. He is survived by his sons, James (Marcy) Kane of Pittsville and Raymond Kane of Marshfield. He is also survived by three step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren. He is further survived by his siblings, Dan Kane of Pittsville, Joan (Gary) Korger of Nekoosa, and Deb (Dan) Ostrowski of Wisconsin Rapids, and a sister-in-law, Diana Kane of Cedarburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Jeff Kane and his stepmother, Ruth Kane.
