John A. "Jack" Bulgrin, Jr., 82, Milladore, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 9, 2021 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Junction City, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 am until service time. Rev. Dr. Timothy Roser will officiate. Martens / Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
John was born on June 7, 1939 in Marshfield, to John A. and Edna H. (Albert) Bulgrin. He attended Mill Creek School and was a graduate of Auburndale High School. He also attended the University of Wisconsin Madison for agriculture. He had served with the National Guard and was called to active duty during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Jack married Debra K. Jarocki on April 15, 1989 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Junction City.
Jack ran the family dairy farm since his father's death in 1971 in the Town of Carson as well as custom harvesting. As a young man he was a boxer, involved with the Golden Gloves. Jack's favorite past times were bowling, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing and NASCAR.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie and his children, Jill (PJ) Wilcott and Jason (Linda) Bulgrin, all of Marshfield, Jennifer (Tim) Wright of Plover, Jeremy (Samantha) Bulgrin of Hewitt, Tyler (Heidi) Bulgrin and Jonathan (Patricia) Bulgrin, all of Milladore, Jaclyn (Matthew) Sponholz of Stevens Point and Tracy Bulgrin (Jamie Skinner) of Milladore. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, Jordyn and Riley Wilcott, Paige and Jaxon Bulgrin, Connor and Tucker Bulgrin, Theodore and Harrison Sponholz and Jonathan "Junior" and Madalynn Bulgrin. He is further survived by two sisters, Kathryn (Eugene) Klasinski of Rothschild and Donna (Dale) Altmann of Junction City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and brother-in-law, Marlene and Chester Worzella.
