Jesse L. Wittman, 44, of Marshfield died at his residence the evening of Sunday, July 13, 2025.

A Celebration of his life will be held from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Saturday, July 26, 2025 at the Rembs Celebration Center – 250 South Oak Avenue, Marshfield, WI 54449

Jesse was born in Marshfield September 14, 1980 to Linda (Jon) Vayda and Paul Wittman. He attended public schools in Marshfield, graduating in 1999. Jesse had been working as a machine operator at Forte in Marshfield.

A lover of music, Jesse had been a prolific collector of vinyl albums. He had been a devoted concert goer as well, traveling as far as California and Las Vegas. Far better known was his propensity for collecting rare comic books. He had a knack for the intricate nature of 3D puzzles. The children in the family really enjoyed the puzzles Jesse would get them for Christmas every year.

Jesse is survived by his mother Linda (Jon) Vayda of Marshfield, his father Paul Wittman of Arbor Vitae, siblings: Nathan (Ashlie) Wittman of Cazenovia, Tanya (Rodney) Would of Pittsville, Tiffanie (Troy) Mengel of South Beloit, Illinois, and Tayler Wittman of New Braunfels, Texas. He is further survived by his maternal grandmother Bernadine Derfus of Marshfield and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandfather.
