Jerry L. Tetzlaff, 65, of Marshfield passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, June 8, 2013. Jerry was born November 24, 1947, in Wausau to John and Elvira (Radtke) Tetzlaff. Jerry was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps serving in Viet Nam. Jerry retired from Marshfield Water and Electric. He was a loving father and grandfather and enjoyed his family and home. Jerry married Barbara Ann Prewitt September 4, 1976. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, his children Justin Tetzlaff of Wausau and Jana Tetzlaff of Pardeeville, one grandson, Cooper Tetzlaff, his father, John, of Wausau, one brother John "Jack" Tetzlaff (Mary), sister Patricia Young (Robert) of Naperville, IL and sister Carol Sall (Erik) of St. Louis, MO. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elvira Tetzlaff. Family will receive friends and relatives at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Faith Lutheran Church, 207 S. Cherry Ave., Marshfield for visitation with services to follow at 11:00 a.m. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #54 of Marshfield following the service.
