Jerrold H. Schirpke, 87, Marshfield, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Three Oaks Health Services. Per Jerrold's request there will be no formal services for him. Jerry was born July 26, 1934 in Marshfield, Wisconsin to Walter & Marion (Beidel) Schirpke. An only son, he graduated from Columbus Catholic Schools and studied at UW LaCrosse for a year before joining up with the US Army. He served from February 1957 to February 1959. On June 25, 1960 he married Betty Vander Veen of Sheboygan Falls at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Marshfield. They later divorced. Following his Army service he worked for the Kohler Company in Kohler, WI. A born salesman, he was later a Sales Rep for various food distributors, and an entrepreneur operating his own Concession Stand and Candy Distributing Business. In his free time, he enjoyed selling at flea markets, was an avid sports fan of football, baseball, and basketball. He often went to Packer games with his parents who were season ticket holders for 55 years. He is survived by his children Lori Schirpke-Jordan (Kelly) of Flower Mound, Texas, Vicky Schirpke of Marshfield, and Shawn Schirpke of Marshfield. Jerrold was preceded in death by his parents.
