Jerrry W. Daul, 89 of Stratford died on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at his home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Rozellville with Fr. Sengole Vethamanickam officiating. Music will be provided by St. Andrew's Folk Choir. Burial will be in the church cemetery with his grandsons as pallbearers, Aaron and Camden Daul, Stosh Blaszkowski, Mark Aschebrock, Nathan Frodl, Sam Elhindi and Isaiah Zoromski.
Visitations will be from 9-11am Wednesday at St. Andrew's in Rozellville.
Jerry was born and raised on the home farm in the Town of Cleveland, Marathon County to Charles and Catherine (Stoiber) Daul on March 25, 1926 and farmed there until 1980.
He was united in marriage to Elaine F. Ottelien on July 30, 1952 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Rozellville. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in July 2012. She sadly passed away on August 16, 2015.
Jerry loved polka music and playing sheepshead. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is survived by his children Allen (Marilyn) Daul of Stratford, Gary (Debra) Daul of Wausau, Charles (Mary) Daul of Mondovi, Mary (Dave) Malnory of Omro, Judith Daul of Rochester, MN, Jean (Steven) Menzner of Hayward, Linda (Ken) Laessig of Stratford, Thomas (Sara) Daul of New Richmond, Karen (Mike) Blaszkowski of Marshfield, Donna (Jeff) Aschebrock of Stratford, Nancy (Steve) Frodl of Stratford, Carol (Mohamed) Elhindi of Winona, MN, Dennis (Nicole) Daul of Stratford and Lisa (Paul) Zoromski of Mosinee. He is further survived by 35 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren. He is further survived by 2 sisters Margaret McHugh of Marshfield and Helen Dahlke of Las Vegas, NV.
Besides his parents and wife Elaine, he was preceded in death by 4 grandchildren, Eric Daul, Alexander and Matthew Menzner and Beth Ann Daul, great granddaughter Millie Daul, granddaughter-in-law, Jenny Daul, 3 brothers George, Alfred and Elwine Daul, 4 sisters Marcella Weber, Marian Schreindl, Catherine Daul and Jane Daul.
Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Memorial may be given to St. Andrew's Parish.
