Obituary

Jeremy D. Meissner, 32 of Marshfield died unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in Juneau County. Funeral services will be 11am Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Grace Lutheran Church in Nasonville with Pastor Jordan Scott officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Josh Meissner, Scott Heeg, John Franseen, Eric Stichert, Josh Witt and Kevin Weiler as pallbearers. Visitations will be from 4-8pm Friday at the Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield and again on Saturday at the church from 10am until service time. Jeremy was born on May 29, 1982 in Marshfield to David and Tammy (Heeg) Meissner. He was a 2000 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture Business from UW River Falls. He returned home and worked on the family farm, Norm-E-Lane Farm in Chili. He was involved in animal health and nutrition. He was united in marriage to Lindsay K. Mancl on March 22, 2003 in Hewitt. He loved the outdoors; fishing , hunting, snowmobiling and boating at the family cabin in Three Lakes, WI. Jeremy found joy in coaching youth football and watching his boys participate in various youth sporting events. His love for family and compassion for others will be remembered always. Jeremy is survived by his wife Lindsay and three boys, Ethan, Blake and Tarin all at home; parents, David and Tammy Meissner of Marshfield, grandparents, Norman and Elaine Meissner of Chili and Roger and Judy Heeg of Marshfield, great grandmother Myrtle Teska of Auburndale; brother Zachary Meissner of Marshfield and sister Amanda (Josh) Witt and their daughter Piper of Marshfield. He is further survived by his uncles, Edwin "Butch" (Sharon) Meissner of Chili, Jerold (Diane) Meissner of Chili, Scott (Linda) Heeg of Marshfield, Jeff (Jayne) Heeg of Marshfield, Tim Heeg of Auburndale and his aunts Sandra Garrand of Marshfield, Sandy (Kevin) Weiler of Marshfield and Kim (Roy) James of Marshfield; father-in-law Terry Mancl of Hewitt; two sisters-in-law Amanda (Luke) Franseen of Spencer and Kimberly (Mike) Johnson of Stratford. He is preceded in death by his uncle Steven Meissner, aunt Melody Dovenbarger and uncle Steven Heeg. Memorials may be designated to "Fore the Kidzone" in memory of Jeremy.
