Jerald A. Schaefer, 72 died on Thursday evening, August 1, 2013 at Brown's Maple Inn in Arpin. Funeral services will be 7:30pm Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Rembs Funeral Home with Fr. Sam Martin officiating. Burial will be at St. Andrew's Cemetery in Rozellville. Visitations will be from 5pm Tuesday, August 6th until time of service at Rembs Funeral Home. Jerald was born on October 15, 1940 in Marshfield to Leander and Sylvia (Pauli) Schaefer. He attended St. Andrew's Parochial School in Rozellville and after he graduated he worked on the family farm until 1969 when the farm sold. He then worked as a farm hand until 1989 when he had a stroke. He was never married and is survived by his sisters, Diane Schneider of Marshfield, Joan Schneider of Wisconsin Rapids and Carol (Jim) Eberhardy of Mosinee and a brother Lee Schaefer of Marshfield. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Linda Knutson and three brothers-in-law Larry Knutson, Peter and Richard Schneider. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
