Jennifer S. Peirce, 56, Stratford, died on Tuesday, May 24, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 am until service time. Jennifer was born on November 30, 1959 in Munster, Indiana, the daughter of Forest "Bud" and Esther Elaine (Morley) Bruhn and was a graduate of Munster High School. She was united in marriage to John W. Peirce. Jennifer enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, flowers, fishing, waterskiing, riding the Harley motorcycle and cooking. She had a huge heart and was always warm and welcoming and greeted everyone with a big smile. She loved animals and her special canine friend, Lenny. Most of all she loved her family with all her heart. She is survived by her husband, John, a son Matthew Porter, and stepchildren, Jason (Kristen) Peirce and Amber Peirce, all of Stratford. She is also survived by grandchildren, Charlotte and Nolan Peirce. She is further survived by her father, Forest Bruhn, a sister, Gwen (Andy) Springsteen and a brother, Jeff Bruhn.
