Jeffrey Thomas Belongia, 59 of Middleburg, FL; formerly of Blenker, WI, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Thursday, November 29th, 2018 at the Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL of natural causes.
Jeff was born on November 14th, 1959 in West Bend, WI to the late Clayton Belongia and Colleen Belongia. Jeff grew up in the Blenker area in Wood County, WI and graduated from Auburndale High School with the class of 1979.
In the late 1990's Jeff moved to the Jacksonville area of Florida, it was there that he met the love of his life, Kimberly. Jeff worked as a truck driver for Raven Transportation Company, Jacksonville.
Being a transplant to Florida Jeff began to follow the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Florida Gators, and the Orlando Magic, but his true loved remained with his Green Bay Packers.
He also had a deep love for his family both near and far and his love for his children was unwavering.
Jeff is survived by his soulmate, Kim, Middleburg, FL; his children Hannah and Aaron, both at home; his mother Colleen, Wisconsin Rapids; brother David Belongia, Hastings, MN; sisters Suzanne (Vincent) Bernet, Maplewood, MN; Mary (Ray) Bauer, Auburndale, WI; and Carol (David) Goehring, Arpin, WI. He is further survived by his nieces and nephews. Jeffery was preceded in death by his father Clayton.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, December 7th, 2018 at St. Killian's Catholic Church, Blenker, WI. Father Antony Arokiyam will officiate and burial of his cremated remains will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call beginning at 9:00 AM until the hour of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for the education of Hannah and Aaron.
