Jeanne E. Gessert 86 of Marshfield died on Saturday evening March 3, 2012 at the House of The Dove in Marshfield. Funeral services will be 11:30 am Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Rembs Funeral Home with Fr. Peter Manickam officiating. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. Visitations will be at Rembs Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10:00 am until time of service. Jeanne was born on February 17, 1926 in Marshfield to James and Elizabeth (Gersbach) Lenz. She was united in marriage to Carl H. Gessert on February 15, 1947 in Marshfield. Carl passed away on October 17, 2007. Jeanne worked for Dr. Chronquist, DDS and Montgomery Wards before joining Weinbrenner Shoe Company in the office as a secretary. Jeanne is survived by her brother Jack (Lorraine) Lenz of Marshfield and a sister Joan (Victor) Hamus also of Marshfield. Besides her parents, and husband Carl, she is preceded in death by a twin sister Jeannette in infancy and three brothers, Gerald, James, Jr. and Richard Lenz.
