Jean M. Meixner 55 of Stratford died unexpectedly on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Family will receive relatives and friends from 4-8pm Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at the Sauter/Rembs Funeral Home in Stratford, Jeanie was born in Marshfield on June 28, 1957 Alvin and Angeline (Markowski) Degnitz. After graduating from Spencer High School in 1975, she began her employment at Weyerhaeuser Company, now Marshfield Door Systems and was presently working in the sanding department. Jean was united in marriage to William F. Meixner on July 6, 2006 in Wausau. Jeanie enjoyed NASCAR, attending the Hodag Festival, gardening, bird watching, reading, canning , her cats and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Bill, daughters, Amanda (Jeff) Kohl of Marshfield, Melanie (Chuck) Evans of Cottonton, AL, Tracy (Steve) LaPointe of Stratford and Lisa (Jason) Schilling of Marshfield; five grandchildren, Aliyah, Dylan, Gemma, Claire and Bryce. She is further survived by her mother Angeline Degnitz of Marshfield and her sisters Carol (John) Groff of Amery, Sue (Dick) Sinette of Marshfield, Pat (DuWayne) Fravert of Marshfield, Nancy (Bob) Northup of Marshfield and Kathy (Sandy) Edwards of Euliss, TX.
