Obituary

Jeanette R. Schreiner, 90, Marshfield, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Atrium Post Acute Care of Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Rembs Funeral Home with Deacon Ray Draeger officiating. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Steve, Jeff, Kory, Scott, Jon and Eric Schreiner. The visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 am until service time at Rembs Funeral Home. Jeanette was born on September 6, 1925 in Bakerville, the daughter of John and Anna (Eckes) Bell and attended St. Mary's Parochial School, Bakerville. She was united in marriage to Charles W. Schreiner on December 27, 1941 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Bakerville. He died on April 22, 2000. Jeanette had been an Avon Representative and also sold Stanley products. She had been employed at St. Joseph's Hospital as a nursing assistant in the Obstetrics Department for 31 years until retiring in 1991. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Parish Council of Catholic Women. She enjoyed going to casinos, camping, traveling, including an Alaska trip and deer hunting with her family. She is survived by her children, James (Karen) Schreiner, Dale (Delores) Schreiner, Brenda (Tony) Schmitt, and Robert (Sharon) Schreiner, all of Marshfield, Richard Schreiner of Mason City, Iowa, and Patrick (Susan) Schreiner of Marshfield and 2 daughters-in-law, Mary Schreiner and Sharon Schreiner. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, Julie, Jeff, Eric, Rhonda, Steve, Scott, Kory, Mike, Stacy, Jill, Gari Lynn, John, Brad, and Joe, 2 stepgrandchildren, Erica and Logan and 18 great grandchildren, Brittnie, Deven, Madeline, Jackson, Zach, Montana, Lydia, Kaelyn, Hannah, Olivia, Eva Marie, Desi, Jason, Ross, Darrin, Danica, Payton, and Makenzie. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, 2 sons, Gary and Charles "Butch" Schreiner, Jr., and siblings, Anton Bell, Lawrence Bell, Arnold Bell, her twin sister, Annette Bores, Herbert Bell, Julia Scherr, Celia Picus, Mildred Duchow, and Dorothy Schreiner.
