Jay D. Schalow, 56, Marshfield, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017 at his home. Graveside committal services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Brooklawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, Town of Richfield, Wood County. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Jay was born on August 6, 1960 in Marshfield, the son of Howard and Lola Mae (Kolstad) Schalow. He is survived by his brother, Rev. Douglas (Deb) Schalow of Vesper and their children, Tim (Tammie) Schalow and Melissa (Tom) Lemsky. He is also survived by an uncle, Ron Schalow and aunts, Dorothy Mannigel, Mary Schalow, Marilyn Kolstad and Sarah Kolstad and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Eric.
