Janice E. Schneider, 81, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday and from 11:00 am until service time on Tuesday at Rembs Funeral Home. Janice was born on March 24, 1939 in Marshfield, to Leonard and Dorothy (Miller) Arends. She was a 1957 graduate of Columbus High School. She was united in marriage to Raymond C. Schneider on June 13, 1959 at St. John's Catholic Church, Marshfield. He died on March 25, 2004. Jan had faithfully been employed at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield for over 50 years until her retirement. She enjoyed bowling, camping, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid Packer fan. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Sheree) Schneider of Nekoosa, Kris Crooks (Alan Calaway) of Seabrook, Texas, and Scott (Lori) Schneider of Stratford. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jessica (Jason) Wolf, Courtney Schneider, Bailey Schneider, Lexi Schneider, Branden Crooks and Samantha Crooks, and great grandchildren, Dominicc and Rhyan Crooks, and Brantley and Weston Wolfe and a brother-in-law, Richard Wilcott. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond, a daughter, Kelly, and a sister, Maureen Wilcott.
