Janet B. Hoffmann, 62 of Spencer died on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Ministry St. Josephs Hospital in Marshfield. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 am Monday, June 27, 2011at St. Johns Catholic Church in Marshfield with Rev. Charles Stoetzel officiating. Services are at St. Johns because of the highway 13 construction. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visitations will be from 4-8pm Sunday at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield and again on Monday from 9:30 am until time of service at St. Johns Church. There will be a 6:30 pm rosary service by the Knights of Columbus followed by a parish prayer service at 6:45pm with Deacon Jeff Austin. Janet was born on December 3, 1948 in Marshfield to Walter and Mary (Becher) Werner. She was united in marriage to Richard H. Hoffmann on July 12, 1980 at St. Johns Catholic Church in Marshfield. Janet taught at the parochial school in Auburndale, Sacred Heart Parochial School and Title 1 in Marshfield. She worked at Moms Day Care Center in Marshfield and Medford and operated Jans Pre School in Spencer. She enjoyed nature, traveling and lived for her daughter Theresa and grandchildren. Janet was a teacher and office supervisor for Christ The King CCD Program for over 20 years. Janet is survived by her husband Richard, daughter Theresa (Brandon) Krohn of Marshfield, two grandchildren Hailey and Logan Krohn. She is further survived by four brothers, Gerald (Phyllis) Werner, Paul (Kathi) Werner, Mike (Ruby) Werner and Eugene (Brenda) Werner all of Marshfield; three sisters, Marian (John) Kramp, Dolores (Steve) Sternweis and Lois Werner all of Marshfield. Janet was preceded in death by her parents.
