Jane L. Schutz, 58, Pittsville, died unexpectedly in the Emergency Room of Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Buchanan / Rembs Funeral Home, Pittsville, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 11:00 am on Saturday until service time. Burial will take place in Babcock Cemetery. Jane was born on December 12, 1958 in Marshfield, to Bert and Thada (Morse) Downing and was a 1977 graduate of Pittsville High School. She was united in marriage to Arnold J. Schutz on September 16, 1979 at the United Church of Christ, Nekoosa. Jane enjoyed walking, animals, especially cats, listening to music, watching movies and was an avid reader. She loved her family and spending time with them. She is survived by her husband, Arnie, and their children, Adam (Ashley) Schutz of DePere and Meagan Schutz of Pittsville. She is also survived by a sister, Ann (Dean) Zielieke of Menomonie, WI and nieces, Jane and Elizabeth. She is further survived by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Patricia Coulthard, Bonnie (LaVern) Hofmeister, Douglas (Cathy) Schutz, Joan (Don) Betz, Jane (Dennis) Kirk, Ron Schutz, Jerry (Anna) Schutz, Diane (Doug) Mundt, Lori Ann (Kevin) Feind and Sue (Randy) Reigel, a sister-in-law, Mabel Schutz and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her parent-in-law, Robert and Ruth Schutz, brothers-in-law, John "Jack" and Larry Schutz and Bill Coulthard, Sr. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsfh.com
