Jan H. Janssen, 78, Marshfield, passed away in the company of family on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Marshfield Medical Center. Jan was born on July 21, 1939 in Zandvoort, Holland, the son of Jan H. and Maria E. (Verhoeven) Janssen. He graduated from high school in Beloit, Wisconsin. He married Delores Warga on August 6, 1960 and they later divorced. Jan had been employed as a professional horse trainer and owned and operated Jandels Arabian Horse Stables during the 1960's and 70's. He also owned and operated Tidy Car, sold real estate at State Wide Realty and worked in RV sales at Craft Trading Center until retirement in 2005. Jan is survived by his children, Jay (Dana) Janssen of Phillips, Tim Janssen of Wausau, Guy (Maria) Janssen of Stevens Point, Jan Janssen of Los Angeles, CA and Taj Janssen of Madison. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Josh, Bruce, Jayda, Megan, Prem and Emy Janssen and 3 great grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother, Ted Janssen of California. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Catherine.
