James Martin 55 of Marshfield died on Wednesday morning August 28, 2013 at his home. There will be no visitations or funeral services for Jim. There will be a gathering of family and friends at the Marshfield Eagles Club on Oak Avenue, Marshfield starting 11:00am Saturday, September 7, 2013 for a luncheon. He was born on November 10, 1957 in Marshfield to Melvin and Almira (Strebe) Martin. Jim was united in marriage to Laurie J. Beisner on December 29, 1978 in Marshfield. He loved his family and was a wonderful husband, father and grandpa. Jim is survived by his wife Laurie, three children, Jedidiah (Cari) Martin of Marshfield, Joseph (Jamie) Martin of Arpin, and Jennifer (Geno) Martin of Marshfield; five grandchildren, Jackson, Oliver, Ben, Cooper and Sophia. He is further survived by two sisters Susan (Duke) Jacobson and Nancy Martin both of Marshfield. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Michael, sister in infancy, Mary Ann and a sister-in-law Karen Martin.
