James (Jim) J. Kress Sr., 93, of Marshfield passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 8, 2025. James was born on April 21, 1932 to Francis & Irene (Schreiner) Kress in Park Falls, WI. Jim was a 1950 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. After his education, he worked in the dairy foods industry in distribution, sales & management positions up until his retirement in 2007.

Jim is survived by his son, James J. Kress, Jr., a granddaughter Jacqueline Schwartz (Grant), two great-grandchildren Alexandria & Vienna Schwartz, and one brother, Louis Krainz. He was predeceased by his wife (Joyce Kress), his parents (Frances & Irene Kress), and two sisters (Beverly Strzok & Janet Kress.)

At his request, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Peach Catholic Church and private burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Marshfield.
