James E. Heise, 79, died on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Comfort of Home Assisted Living, Marshfield. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 pm on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Hope Lutheran Church, Edgar, with Rev. David Lathrop officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. James was born on November 14, 1935 in Merrill, the son of Lawrence and Alice (Wendt) Heise. He is survived by his sons, Paul, Robert and Joe Heise and by a grandson, Brandon Heise and a great granddaughter, Jayda. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Roger Heise.
