James P. "Jim" Handrick, 53, Auburndale, joined his parents in heaven on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at his home in the town of Auburndale. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Auburndale with Rev. Jesse Burish officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. The visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield and on Tuesday from 9:30 am until service time at St. Mary's Church. James was born on May 30, 1961 in Marshfield to LaVern "Cowboy" and Joyce (Worzella) Handrick. He attended St. Mary's Parochial School, Auburndale and was a 1979 graduate of Auburndale High School. He also was a graduate of Mid State Technical College, Wisconsin Rapids, Auto Body Technician Program. Jim was employed at West Side Auto as an auto body technician. He later became employed in the maintenance department at the Marshfield Clinic for 14 years until the present time. Jim was a hard worker, enjoyed the outdoors, loved deer hunting and had a passion for wildlife habitat development. He also enjoyed gardening, smoking meat and meat processing for friends, and tinkering in his workshop. He is survived by 2 brothers, 4 sisters, and 12 nieces and nephews, Steve (Mary) Handrick of DePere and their children, Jennifer (Quinn), Aaron (Lisa), Robert, and Kathryn; Scott (Diane) Handrick of Mesa, AZ and their children Luke (Nikita) Joshua, and Michael; Cheryl (Ron) Klawitter of Auburndale and their children, Matthew (Kelly) and Alysia; Christine (Ken) Ott of Mesa, AZ and their children, Jacob, Erica and Lindsey; Donna Handrick and Sarah Handrick both of Mesa, AZ.
