Obituary

James D. Dosch, 65, of Marshfield, WI, formerly of Mountain Iron, MN, died on Monday, January 5, 2015 at House of the Dove, Hospice, Marshfield. He was diagnosed at the Mayo Clinic in September 2013 with ALS. James was born in Crosby, MN to James A. and Ruth (Koski) Dosch. He moved to Babbitt, MN in 1961 and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1967. He attended Hibbing Community College and received a certificate in electrical maintenance. He married Linda Jonas from Babbitt in 1972. James was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the US Navy from 1969 – 1973. James was a Cub Scout leader, Little League coach and assistant coach for the Hibbing-Chisholm Alpine Ski Team. He loved the outdoors and to fish, hunt and ski. He was an electrician for Hibbing Taconite Company and retired in 2008. James is survived by his wife, Linda, 2 sons, Dr. Kyle (Lisa) Dosch of Coeur d'Alene, ID and Dr. Adam Dosch of Marshfield, WI, a sister, Marilyn Tervola of Superior, WI, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Janis and John Cole of Park Falls, WI and Mary and Todd Esala of Babbitt, MN, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends, Glenn and Elizabeth Jackola of Chisholm, MN.
