James F. Bach, 77, Stratford, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Marshfield Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Town of McMillan, Marathon County, where there will be a gathering for family and friends from 9:30 am until service time. Rev. Wayne Oblender will officiate, and military rites will be conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6352 at the church following the service. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.

James was born on April 1, 1945 in Marshfield, to Harold and Agnes (Carl) Bach. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving from March 31, 1964 until his honorable discharge on July 20, 1966.

Jim was employed as an x-ray technician at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, and also owned and operated a floral shop, The Greenery, in Spencer.

Jim was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church of which he served as an organist. He had a passion for flowers and was a member of the Gladiolas Society. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by a sister Janet (Jerry) O'Kane of Madison and nieces and nephews, Walter, Debra, Tina (Darin) , Chad, Jason & Jody  and great nieces and nephews, Shawn, Taralee and Skylar. He is further survived by a sister-in-law Kathy Bach.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Velva Engel and brothers, Richard and Daniel Bach.
